On June 6, 2014 many neighbors and Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, Inc. (KIB) volunteers gathered at the pocket park to tear down the old fence and replace the fence on the east side of the park. This was necessary to clearly delineate the property line between the pocket park and the adjoining home. Though the park is still closed until further notice, neighbors can see and participate in the progress.
Fundraising continues for the remaining fence and park necessities. While KIB has secured many resources towards the park, neighbor contributions are still needed to make the pocket park a premier destination for neighborhood social events or personal enjoyment.
