The HMPNA Board will be working with the HMP Pocket Park Committee to determine the feasibility of having a Little Free Garden in or near the park. While this initiative is still in the exploratory phase, it is a concept that is emerging and could have a positive impact on the neighborhood. The goal of the Little Free Garden is to support communities in cultivating food in small, raised bed gardens in residential spaces. While the park may seem like the ideal space for a Little Free Garden, consultation with the Pocket Park Committee is necessary to ensure that there are no issues for concern or to determine if an alternative location may provide a better location.
