To my fellow neighbors/friends in Historic Meridian Park,

As I end my 2-year term as president of the Historic Meridian Park Neighborhood Association, I wanted to thank you all for your guidance, patience, and support. I not only learned a lot in regards to neighborhood operations and planning, but also just how special this neighborhood is! In the last several years, the neighborhood has gone through an immense amount of change bringing in a wave new of neighbors that want to be involved in our neighborhood- how exciting! I was lucky enough to witness many of the neighbors that have lived here for years embrace and welcome those families that recently moved here.

I would like to thank each one of you for supporting and participating in the many projects and events that the Board and subcommittees coordinated throughout the year:  alley/street clean-ups, pocket park projects, social events, fundraising and the 2015 Home Tour to name a few. None of these events would have been successful without our wonderful neighbors getting involved.

I, personally, would like the Board for their support, Lorraine Vavul for representing HMP at many community events, the Pocket Park Committee for their continued commitment, the 2015 Home Tour Committee, Wade Johnson-Nichols for your hard work as social chair, the hosts and hostesses of our social events, Dick Luchtman and his clean-up crew that help keep our neighborhood looking great, Karla Johnson and John Carmer for launching neighborhood watch, and all of my neighbors that make HMP so special.

All the best,
Stacey
