In September, members of the HMPNA Board and interested neighbors conducted a neighborhood walkthrough with representatives from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) and the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office. The purpose of the walkthrough was to identify areas in our neighborhood that are vulnerable to crime and offer suggestions to minimize being a crime victim. Personnel trained in Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) were also there to point out simple fixes neighbors can do around our homes.
