If you missed the Annual Fall Festival, then you missed the good news that the Pocket Park Committee has raised enough money and received approval to build the park shelter without a public bathroom. The committee is waiting on the permits and coordinating schedules with the contractor.
We still need volunteers to keep our park maintained. If you are energetic about making your neighborhood a great place to live, we need you. If you have special skills that would benefit our pocket park project we want your help. Join us. The kind of help we need include:
- Maintaining gardens and grounds
- Event leaders
- Clean up / Set up help for events
- Fundraising
- Social Media Coordinator
- Tools and equipment donations
- Staining the playstation and shelter
