2013 Cajun Brunch

To cap off a fun weekend, the annual HMP Cajun Brunch took place on May 5 at the home of Drs. Steve Towns & Jeanette Holloway who generously open their doors to neighbors for this annual event every year. Steve and Jeanette spend countless hours in the kitchen preparing delicious Cajun food and neighbors bring their favorite side dish. Children entertain themselves and teens find time to catch up with old friends. Mark Herner played the guitar and provided wonderful entertainment on the front porch. A brief meeting was held to update neighbors on neighborhood news and then the party resumed. Noah Rhys sold homemade bread with the proceeds going to the pocket park fund. Finally, all this would not have been possible without the hard work of Wade Johnson who helped coordinate another successful Cajun brunch with Drs. Towns & Holloway.
