Have you noticed the work that has been completed at the pocket park? The children’s structure is complete. Work was completed by Ball State 4th-year architecture students who helped the Pocket Park Committee conceptualize the kids’ area. Work will continue on building the shelter space and the athenaeum. Check in periodically and watch as the HMP park evolves into the community space the neighborhood agreed upon.
Funding is needed to replace the park fence. To date, several neighbors have generously donated $1850 towards the purchase of a new fence. However, the Pocket Park Committee is still about $1000 short.
