On Monday August 21, 2017, millions of people across the country gathered to watch the solar eclipse. It seemed that with so much turmoil throughout our country and abroad, very little could be done to bring people together. But on this day, the nation stood still, gathered under the sun, unified—to watch the historic solar eclipse. HMP neighbor Angela Colby hosted an eclipse party at her home with included NASA approved glasses, soda and moon pies, and other eclipse-themed snacks.
