Nearby Farmers’ Market Ends Season on October 28

The Farmers’ Market at North United Methodist Church’s parking lot at 3808 N. Meridian Street is open each Thursday from 4:00 to 6:30 PM through October 28 and features entertainment and more than 20 vendors with everything from hot foods to “take and bake.” The purpose is to provide fresh, healthy foods to those who need it but cannot access it. The mission reaches out to the immediate community and impacts the lives of hundreds of children by providing fresh vegetables, produce, and other Indiana-raised products. Nearly 30% of the vendor sales at the market are represented by WIC vouchers.
