Walking can be one of the simplest activities with the most impact on health. Just a few minutes of walking a few times a week can lower blood pressure, improve heart health, strengthen bones and muscles, and boost energy levels. Walking reduces stress, supports mental health, and can even improve sleep. Walking is free, accessible, and something neighbors of all ages can enjoy together. This is why joining the weekly neighborhood walking group is such a great idea.

Every Wednesday evening a small but mighty group of dedicated neighbors gather for the Wednesday Night Walking Group. This weekly event is more than just exercise; it is also a chance to catch up with friends, meet new people, and enjoy our neighborhood in a safe and supportive environment. All are welcome.

So lace up your sneakers, bring a water bottle, and join the group on Wednesdays and have fun while getting the recommended daily number of steps. Information about the group is found in the neighborhood Facebook group or just join the group at the Pocket Park on Wednesdays at 8:00 PM sharp.
