Historic Meridian Park’s application to install public art on the signal boxes on the four corners of our neighborhood was accepted and will be discussed at the Indiana Arts Council’s Public Art for Neighborhoods Selection Committee meeting on Thursday, January 29, 2026. Neighbors are welcome to attend and voice support for the initiative. Full details are in the comment form below and everyone can submit an online comment in support of our application prior to January 29.
Public Art for Neighborhoods Selection Committee Meeting Public Comments Form
Comments can be short and sweet and just need to demonstrate support for artistically decorating the electrical boxes to prevent graffiti and beautify the neighborhood. Three of the four boxes are next to a school, church, or daycare.
