Drew Lurker
My name is Drew Lurker and my family and I are thrilled to be part of the Historic Meridian Park neighborhood. Having lived in Indianapolis since 2008, my wife and I moved to this HMP a year and half ago after spending nearly 15 years in Butler-Tarkington. I love historic homes—specifically the unique character and craftsmanship that you just can’t find elsewhere. I truly enjoy the work of restoring our house, uncovering its history, and making it a wonderful place for my family.
Before moving to HMP, my wife and I lived in Butler-Tarkington for almost 15 years, where I also served on the Butler-Tarkington Neighborhood Association Board. I am thrilled to bring that experience to HMP, helping to preserve the charm that makes this neighborhood so special.
Professionally, I serve as a Client Strategy Executive at CollegeSource. Previously, I served as the Assistant Vice President for Student Records and Registrar for the Ivy Tech Community College system, where I oversaw student systems and state-level initiatives. My wife and I love raising our two kids here in the city, and I look forward to working with you all.
Quentin Magnett
My name is Quentin Magnett, and my wife Olivia and I have been proud members of the Historic Meridian Park neighborhood since 2021. I was born and raised in Indianapolis, grew up in Pike Township, and studied at Ivy Tech Community College before transferring to Indiana University, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design and a Master of Science in Human Computer Interaction Design. I currently work as a UX Designer in the aviation industry. Outside of work, I enjoy music, sports, neighborhood walks with our one year old.
We have always wanted to live close to the city, and this neighborhood truly reflects what we love about Indianapolis, the culture, energy, and sense of connection. From welcoming neighbors and children’s laughter to peaceful walks, nearby schools, and vibrant holidays, our experience here has been incredible. I have long been drawn to involvement and leadership, from organizing events and fundraisers in college to participating in creative communities as an adult. As my passion and career have aligned, I have become deeply motivated by shaping meaningful experiences for others, which is why I chose to join the Historic Meridian Park Board, to help foster a community where neighbors feel connected, supported, and proud, and where future generations feel safe and inspired.

She has lived on Washington Boulevard with her family since March 2021 after previously calling Fountain Square and Fletcher Place home and originally grew up in Indianapolis’s Broad Ripple neighborhood. Courtney lives with her husband, Grant, who works in supply chain at IU Health, and their two daughters.
