Introducing Kamarra Buening
Hi neighbors! My name is Kamarra Buening, and I am excited about serving on the Historic Meridian Park Neighborhood Association Board of 2022. I moved to Historic Meridian Park in May of 2020. I live with my husband, Brian, and dog, Ollie, on North Delaware Street. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time here as part of the neighborhood. Outside of being at home, I work as a Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist in our Indianapolis community. I love spending time outdoors, traveling, and immersing myself in new experiences. I’m looking forward to working with other board members and volunteers in effort to continuously make HMP a great place to live.
Introducing Chris Roberson
Brooke and I live with our six kids, ranging from 7-17 years old, in the brown house right next to the Pocket Park (with the chickens). I’m an aspiring urban farmer, an avid runner, and an enthusiastic environmentalist.
I have been an active member of the neighborhood since August of 2017 (attending social events, helping with neighborhood clean-ups, etc.). I am a healthcare attorney with 17 years of non-profit governance experience, including serving as the corporate secretary for a non-profit medical clinic I helped establish in the Amish community. I currently serve as a block captain with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful and recently submitted my application to run as our Precinct Committeeman! Looking forward to getting even more involved with the neighborhood through service on the board!
