The pocket park (209 E. 33rd Street) tree trimming, and tree removal is complete. Take a stroll to the park and see the work that has been completed. Take note of the work that needs to be done and remember that the upkeep of the park takes the combined efforts of everyone. Always a good time to pay your dues or donate to park maintenance. Last year the neighborhood saved over $650 by having volunteers mow the pocket park. If interested in helping with the park for the 2024 mowing season, please contact the board at board@historicmeridianpark.org or sign up in the neighborhood Facebook group.

Historic Meridian Park (HMP) received a $6234 Indianapolis Neighborhood Resource Center (INRC) grant for pocket park improvements. The funds were used to make much needed repairs to the park play equipment. In addition to the grant funding from INRC, HMP received $8000 from an anonymous donor who directed the money to be used specifically for play equipment improvements. This seed money will help immensely to improve the play equipment.
