Resident Lee Rhys is baking bread at the Broadway United Methodist Church commercial kitchen and selling it with all proceeds benefitting the HMP Pocket Park. If you haven’t tried Lee’s bread, you are in for a real treat. His cinnamon bread is for sale at the Unleavened Bread Café at 3001 N. Central Ave. His artisan free-form loaf is a neighborhood favorite and can be delivered to your door for $4.00 a loaf. He also bakes a raisin bread that is available every 3rd Sunday of the month.
