One of the best things about living in Historic Meridian Park is that there is always something to look forward to and the board wants to make sure the things we plan are things the neighbors actually want to enjoy. Looking ahead, the board would love to hear your ideas. What would bring you out of your house, into the park, or around the neighborhood with your neighbors? Maybe there is an event you’ve always thought would be fun to have in HMP. Perhaps it is a neighborhood tradition that should be brought back, a new activity for families, an adults-only evening, a community project, or something completely different. Last year many neighbors shared some wonderful ideas and the board has already implemented many of them, but we know there are plenty more out there.
This is an invitation from the board to speak up. What would you like to see happen in Historic Meridian Park? What would make you more likely to participate in a neighborhood event? What could we do that would bring a few more neighbors together? Send your ideas to board@historicmeridianpark.org, share them with a board member when you see us around the neighborhood, or bring them up at an upcoming event. Not every idea will make it onto the calendar, but every good idea starts with someone willing to suggest it.
